Cascades Park, Bloomington

This is a nice little park in Bloomington. Looking forward to getting back in the next couple years to do more exploring.
A great waterfall, maybe 15 or 20 feet, that you can cross over to finish your loop trail.

Bloomington is known worldwide for its limestone. Who knew it had this awesome limestone couch!

Found a Big Rock

Rocks, what are they?

Rocks, Where do they come from?

"Well, judging just from the picture, it looks like those red chunks are banded, not foliated as a crystal, but it may be a pegmatitic granite. It's that or a conglomerate sedimentary rock that was metamorphosed"
