How much of the ocean's waters are displaced by all the ships at sea , and if all said ships were lifted from the waters , how far would the coastal waters dip ?
For that matter , how many gallons do whales and tuna and swimming ducks displace ?
Gives a new meaning to 'Lord love a duck and all the ships at sea' or maybe it doesn't ...

(And you may have asked the question that answers the question of how to combat the swamping effects of all that melting ice.)
sure, but where do you put a million boats or put the 'keep off the water' buoys for the ducks that don't know how to read in any case ..? etc .
"in" the water actually means you're shoving it aside. I never think about it that way - cool.
How about all the surfers and fishing boats and how about all the plastic packaging that's floating around out there.
